First Day is Tomorrow - Reminders and Class Placements

Dear Rancho Community,

We Can’t Wait to See Our Eagles Tomorrow! 

We are so excited to welcome our Rancho Eagles back to school tomorrow! A few reminders to help our first morning go smoothly:

• Parking and walking in is preferred, especially on the first day.
• Class lists will be available from staff with clipboards to help families find where to go. They will also be available after 6:00 pm tonight on your Aeries. 
• If you use the drop-off lane, adults must remain in their cars. If your child needs help getting out of their car seat or seat belt, please park and walk in.
• School starts at 8:40 a.m.
• TK: Drop off at the TK Yard gate.
• Kindergarten: Drop off at the middle yard gate.
• We kindly ask that students only enter classrooms during arrival.
• Campus supervision begins at 8:25 a.m. Please do not drop students off before that time.

And families, once the kids are settled, please join our PTA for Tea and Tissue in the quad after drop-off! 
We can’t wait to see everyone and start a wonderful year together!

About Class Placements

It’s always exciting for students to find out who their teacher will be and who will be in their class! As placements are shared, I want to give a little context about our process.

Our staff puts a great deal of thought and care into creating balanced classrooms. We consider academic and social-emotional needs, peer relationships, independence, and the overall needs of each class. Our goal is to create classrooms where every student can feel connected, supported, and successful.

Because our classes are full and have been carefully balanced, class placements are final. We are not able to accommodate requests to change teachers or classrooms. Even one change can impact several classrooms.

We know students may have hoped for a particular teacher or friend. Please help us start the year by approaching your child’s placement with excitement and confidence. Our kids take their cues from us!
