Principal Message

Dear Rancho Families,

Wow! What an amazing start to the school year. Families, thank you for all you have done to prepare your children for school. I am truly amazed by our school community. Our students are kind, helpful, and ready to learn. Our youngest Eagles have made such a smooth transition, and our older students have already stepped up as wonderful helpers and leaders.

Our first two days have truly been filled with joy! I've loved seeing students thriving in their classrooms, creating new friendships, and establishing their routines that will set them up for a year of success.

Our attendance has also been incredible. We are currently at 99% attendance! Thank you for getting your children to school and on time each day.

Thank you as well for the kindness and patience you have shown during drop-off and pick-up. It has gone very smoothly! I especially appreciate everyone treating one another with kindness and respect in our parking lot. It makes a big difference.

Morning Walks Begin Next Week
Starting next week, students will begin our morning walks on the lower playground. Families are welcome to join! Please walk the perimeter of the blacktop. Students should drop their backpacks at their class line before joining the walk. Campus supervision begins at 8:25 a.m. Please do not leave children unattended before that time.

Student Expectation Assemblies
Next week, I will also host expectation assemblies for students in grades 1–5 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please have them report to the multipurpose room at the start of school. These assemblies are for students only.

Thank you for such a wonderful first week, Rancho. I am so excited for the year ahead!

Warmly,

Anna Young
Principal
