It’s not too late to sign up for Career Day on May 30, 2018. If you are available on this day and would like to share your career with our students, please email Amy Allen at [email protected] or call her at 415-209-3611 by Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Over the past several years, we have had parents, friends of parents, grandparents, etc. of Rancho students, come to our school to talk about their careers. We want to continue this tradition, and invite anyone associated with a Rancho student to volunteer for Career Day, and share his or her exciting and rewarding career with our students.
If you volunteer on Career Day, you will be assigned to classrooms ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade. Please keep this in mind for how you will present your material. Kindergarten presentations will be 15 minutes with an additional 5-minute Q&A, and first through 5th grade presentations will be 20 minutes with an additional 10-minute Q&A.
Career Day will begin at 8:45 am, end at 12:15 pm, and all volunteers are invited to join an appreciation luncheon, beginning at 12:15 pm.
