WELCOME BACK TO THE RANCHO LIBRARY
September is National Library Card Month
CONGRATULATIONS to all the Rancho students who participated in the Marin County Free Library Summer Reading Program. They earned an EAGLE CARD for their hard work over the summer.
You can still earn more EAGLE CARDS. All Rancho Readers who show me their MCFL Library card (must be their very own) will receive one. You have until the end of September, so don’t forget!
School is well under way and the students at Rancho are visiting the library each week. They have reviewed the rules of the library and know how to take good care of their books and know that they need to return them when they are due.
I would also like to remind all parents that they are welcome to visit the library as well. Maybe you can have your child bring you to our lovely library and have them show you around.
Parents are welcome to check out books and can come in and sign up for check-out. The library is open at 8:15am to 3:10pm four days per week, and Wednesdays we close at 2:30.
Please consider signing your child up for Library Gift Book Program.
This is currently the library’s main source of new books and we would love to continue to supply new and award winning books for the library to keep it current and feed our hungry Rancho Readers. Your help is greatly appreciated! The form is going home in your student’s FRIDAY FOLDER. If you missed it there you can pick up a form from the office, the library or go online to the PTA webstore:
